Manufacturing a wide variety of Abrasive Compounds enables us to Abrasive Flow Machine parts from many markets. Fuel injectors like the one pictured here, receive two benefits from Abrasive Flow Machining. The process is designed to remove burrs from the cross holes, an additional benefit is the polishing of the internal holes. This improves the fuel flow through the Injector.

Recently we ran test trials on Stainless Steel Medical Needles. The inside diameter of the needles were polished to better than a 6 Ra finish. The needle's inside diameter varied from .100" to .145" and were 7.0" long.

Die Polishing is a market that really benefits from Abrasive Flow Machining. When an Extrusion Die starts to break down; the Die can be polished using Abrasive Flow Machining, enabling the Die to be placed back into production quickly.
